As a Citrix Engineer, you are responsible for taking part in BAU support, implementation and administrative tasks around Citrix VDI. As part of internal support team, you will be asked to manage and support the employees and business partners consuming Citrix VDI Services through our ITSM tool - Service-Now.
We expect you to go an extra mile in supporting and delivering services for our users and ensure continuity of business.
Key Responsibilities
This position requires a candidate with 4-7 years of experience in Citrix XenApp, Xen-Desktop, Citrix Cloud, Azure Virtual Desktop, Workspace Environment Manager, FSLogix, Control UP Monitoring, Windows Servers and Client OS and NetScaler.
Primary Responsibilities -
- Administration of a Citrix XenDesktop environment, including Provisioning Server, XenApp, MCS, WEM, Netscaler, Citrix Cloud, Azure, etc.
- Administration and support to VMware infrastructure, hands on experience on management of VMware ESX and ESXi.
- Monitor systems performance. Experience on Citrix Director, Monitoring tools like Control UP, Azure Monitoring, etc.
- Experience about integration of 3rd party systems or applications required to support the business.
- Provide support and maintenance for data centers including installation of equipment and troubleshooting hardware.
- Administration of application deployment, Security Patches, and period maintenance via Azure, Citrix MCS, Citrix App Layering, etc.
- Follow and support IT business processes including Incident management, change management, Problem management.
- Good to have knowledge on disaster recovery and business continuity.
- Good understanding on compliance with hands on experience on Citrix server maintenance, Patching tools like sccm etc.
- Hands on Citrix migration, infra upgrade & deployment of POC as per project requirements.
- Providing L2/L3 level Citrix support.
- Writing and updating documentation and media content.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree or equivalent (4-years) in Computer Science, Engineering or related field; or equivalent work experience.
- 4-7years of relevant work experience required on the following technologies.
Citrix Cloud, Azure and Azure Virtual Desktop, Windows Servers and Client OS, FSLogix Profiles, Control UP Monitoring, Citrix App Layering, MCS and PVS.
- Ability to support working outside nor business hours to provide after hours or on-call support when necessary to solve high profile incidents/problems.
- Highly innovative problem solver with strong analytical and customer service abilities.
- Ability to communicate and articulate technical information across various organizational levels.
- High reasoning aptitude and ability to quickly understand complex operating environments.
Preferred Qualifications -
-Experience working in an Agile or Continuous Delivery environment.
- Certification in Azure and Windows Server OS.
- Citrix Certifications - CCA or CCP.
