We are seeking an experienced team member for structural design of various types of buildings/projects - Multi-residential, Industrial, Manufacturing, Commercial, Hotels, Stores, Medical/Healthcare etc. Candidate must have solid technical background in a variety of structures from single-family residential to multi-storey commercial and wide span. Experience with many areas of construction, including building design, construction, repairs, conversions, and additions required.
Job Location:
- Ahmedabad (Siddhivinayak Towers, Makarba)
Shift Timings:
- 6pm to 3am
- Monday to Saturday (Alternate Saturdays)
- Work from office only
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Maintain and develop structural engineering capability
- Manage projects from the size of a single small building to industrial, medical, and recreational complexes
- Prepare reports, designs, and drawings
- Prepare calculations for loads and stresses
- Select appropriate construction materials
- Structural code compliance
- Analysis, and evaluation of existing structures
- Structural design and detailing for new construction and alteration of wood, steel, and concrete
- Structural plan review
- Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the department, in addition to managing structural projects
- Overseeing projects, and quality control
Skills Required:
- Masters degree into Civil/Structural Engineering from an accredited college or university
- Minimum 3 years work experience
- Proficiency in Tekla and REVIT software
- Decent communication skills - written and verbal
