About the role:
The Territory Contact & Enrichment (TC&E) team is integral to Gartner's sales strategy, forming a crucial part of the Sales Strategy & Operations Business Unit (GSSO). We are currently seeking a Senior Specialist for the Lead Enrichment & Reassignment (LER) Team within TC&E.
This role involves conducting thorough research on prospects and former clients, addressing sales escalations, and engaging with stakeholders enabling the Sales team to focus on closing deals and boosting NCVI productivity.
What You Will Do:
Research and Analysis:
- Conduct thorough research on prospects and former client leads, ensuring timely and accurate results.
- Perform data analysis and support reporting needs, maintaining data integrity by regularly updating datasets.
- Manage data tools and internal applications, including automation tools, Excel, Power BI, and prospecting tools like ZoomInfo, Lusha, and D&B Hoover's.
Project Management and Collaboration:
- Collaborate on ad-hoc operational projects, demonstrating initiative and minimal need for guidance.
- Own and execute assigned work streams, develop strong process knowledge, and build relationships with stakeholders and cross-functional units.
Stakeholder Engagement and Problem Solving:
- Address sales escalations and engage with stakeholders across functions to deliver value.
- Partner with teams to identify gaps, solve problems, and enhance processes.
Reporting and Analytics
- Analyse regional data and metrics to identify trends and opportunity areas at various levels (e.g., region, industry, practice).
- Conduct regular analyses to ensure teams positively impact sales productivity and improve the overall experience.
Operational Excellence and Mentorship:
- Drive operational excellence by simplifying processes, implementing best practices, and assisting with the transition to new processes.
- Mentor and train team members on processes and tools, executing business-critical sales operations and ensuring robust data checks.
What You Will Need:
- A bachelor's degree, preferably in a STEM discipline, with 3-4 years of relevant experience in prospect research, client service or sales operations.
- A driven, coachable individual with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to challenge the status quo.
- Strong problem-solving skills, comfortable with quantitative analysis, and excellent communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint (Think Cell); knowledge of VBA/Macros and Power BI is a plus.
- A high sense of urgency, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality standards.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to analyse and improve operational processes.
- A champion mindset, quick learning ability, and experience working with multiple stakeholders across geographies with evolving requirements.
