Sr. Specialist HHDDA Operational Excellence Reporting and Metrics Lead
Develop dashboards and lead a team of Power BI developers and analysts in the design, development, and deployment of interactive and visually compelling dashboards and reports.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective Power BI solutions.
Develop and maintain best practices, standards, and guidelines for Power BI dashboard development and data visualization.
Implement data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes from data sources into Power BI using Power Query and other relevant tools.
Perform data profiling and analysis to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and integrity in Power BI dashboards and reports.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members on Power BI development best practices, techniques, and tools.
Provide solution to build the right product along with KPI identification.
Identify areas of optimization and enhancement through automation.
Ensure compliance with data security and privacy regulations in Power BI dashboards and reports.
Troubleshoot refresh failures in Power BI, analyze performance issues of reports as needed.
Required Skills/Experiences
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
8-10 years of proven experience in a role focusing on Microsoft Power BI development and data analysis/modeling; 2-3 years of team handling experience.
Expert in Power BI Desktop/online, Power Query, DAX, and M Query language.
Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modelling, and ETL processes.
Experience/working knowledge of Python and SQL and other data querying languages.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
JavaScript/Python Knowledge a plus.
Ability to multi-task and provide quick solutions.
Worked across Global teams and multiple stakeholders.
Proficient with Microsoft Suite, Teams, and SharePoint; Jira, Confluence is a plus.
Working knowledge of AWS, Azure cloud services.
