Job Description

  • Technological reference for the other team members
  • Design the technology strategy to be used by the team
  • Proactive and driven approach to problem-solving
  • Skilled in automation to help the team to develop solutions and solve problems
  • Identifies and eliminates technical barriers before they become blockers
  • Provides roadmap for implementing engineering and architectural practices
  • Ensures the squad meets quality, functionality and security standards
  • Mentor and trainer to junior engineers, from coding to design architecture
  • Handle production incidents during working-hours as part of a follow-the-sun rota
Minimum Qualifications
  • AWS Core Services (VPC, EKS, S3, R53, EC2)
  • Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Helm)
  • Containerisation (EKS/Kubernetes, Istio)
  • Load Balancing (Global Accelerator, PrivateLink)
  • Networking Principles (Transit Gateway, Routing)
  • Continuous Integration and Deployment (GitHub, ArgoCD/Codefresh)
  • Observability & SRE Principles (Grafana, CloudWatch, Honeycomb)
  • Security (AWS Security Hub)
