Summary of Position:
IT Systems Software Analysis & Programming focuses on programming & configuration of IT Systems Software (i.e. software for use in operating/controlling hardware and providing a platform for running internal end user/business applications). The work includes:
- Identifying and analyzing business needs, conducting requirements gathering, and defining scope and objectives for the IT System
- Developing programming specifications, diagrams, and flowcharts
- Writing code in lower-level programming languages to optimize the performance and efficiency of an organization's IT platform/infrastructure
- Configuring, customizing, diagnosing, and enhancing vendor systems software (e.g., operating systems software and utilities that manage access to peripherals, facilitate networking, manage memory allocation, manage file storage on hard drives, etc.)
- Writing diagnostic programs to test integrated software/hardware systems and resolve system faults
- Creating functional and technical documentation of systems software programs and code.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designs and configures SAP ERP systems solutions to address internal and external business requirements which fit within the company's system architecture and processing standards.
- Develop system designs that adhere to high level conceptual design and are traceable to functional as well as non-functional requirements in projects/enhancements.
- Deliver design solutions in line with system design standards (Core/Template).
- Ensure that solutions meet requirements outlined in the architecture handbook.
- Perform scoping, fit-gap workshops for projects/enhancements, proposes solutions for key gaps, provide effort estimations and align with business teams.
- Ensure that project/enhancements work is delivered to agreed time, cost and quality constraints following the release calendars
- Ensure that developed solutions are peer reviewed, formally documented and signed off by business.
- Initiate solution testing to ensure these meet quality standards
- Follow standardized design and development processes to enable cost effective delivery.
- Take accountability to ensure adherence with Security and Compliance policies and procedures within Solution Design scope.
- Liaisons with other business functional and technical areas to provide automated integrated solutions to meet business and end-customer requirements.
Key Requirements/Minimum Qualifications:
- 7+ Years of experience in SAP business consultancy in an international environment.
- Strong understanding of SAP SD module functionalities, including but not limited to sales order processing, ATP, pricing, delivery, billing, and credit management.
- Demonstrated SAP Sales and Distribution functional experience which includes SD setup and configuration.
- Demonstrated SAP full life-cycle implementation experience
- Strong Order to Invoice business process knowledge and end-to-end Integration testing skills.
- Three days On-site
It would be nice if you have:
- SAP SD certification
- S4 HANA Implementation experience with knowledge on AATP
- Additional skills related to SFDC, GTS, Intercompany, Warehouse, Finance - FI-AR, COPA, FSCM.
- Flexibility in accommodating to work according to project deadlines and client needs.
- Strong communication/inter-personal skills for collaborative interaction with business users & cross-functional/technical team members.
- Ability to work independently and drive deliverables according to the timelines.
