Responsibilities
- Generate and qualify sales lead/opportunities to drive sustainable and profitable sales growth of assigned territory/Accounts.
- Manage the aerospace, defense and public sector accounts
- Manage the procurement process through GEM for the territory
- Manage existing and potential customers to meet assigned revenue and profit targets.
- Liaise effectively across all functions in the organization to deliver total customers satisfaction
- Create specific plan of actions for managing customers that is aligned to company's business strategy.
- Provide Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly Business Forecast to Management.
- Further analyze orders and forecast of customers and execute recovery plan if required.
- Persuasive, articulate, confident and capable of representing the company amazingly whether you are negotiating deals with strategic partners, handling customers.
- Successfully match customer pain/requirements to proposed solutions. Technically sound to handle basic demonstration of the products/solutions if need arise.
- Manage all aspects of RFP / RFI responses
- Effectively communicate client needs to the R&D teams for future product enhancements
- Collect and document competitive intelligence
- Ability to multitask and take on diverse tasks requiring different skill sets. Organized, composed and handles pressure well.
- Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedure
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics/Communication/Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent is required. (Post Graduate in Sales/Marketing or Management / MBA would be an added advantage)
- Minimum 3 to 5 years Sales and application engineeringexperience
- Account Management experience large corporations specifically government institutes such as ISRO, DRDO labs and PSUs (BEL/HAL/ECIL)
- Sales experience in test and measurement industry, Semiconductors, components, medical equipment
- Very good vernal and written communication skills
- Have good understand of tender and GEM process
- Should have history of achieving sales quota
