This position is focused on supporting the regulatory compliance function for the GE Vernova enterprise. This includes assisting with the development, implementation, and monitoring of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards for the Vernova segments/businesses.
Essential Responsibilities
Assist with the development and implementation of governance policies and procedures for the Vernova segments/businesses.
Support the development and maintenance of the organization's risk management framework
Conduct risk assessments to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies
Review and analyze risk reports and data to identify trends and areas for improvement
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure effective governance practices and risk management strategies
Provide training and guidance to employees on governance and risk management matters
Support internal and external audits and risk assessments
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of governance practices and risk management principles
Prepare reports for management on governance and risk management issues and risk assessments.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a STEM related field, or equivalent knowledge or experience
Significant experience in Information Technology and or engineering
Strong experience in Cyber Security
Desired Characteristics
Vernova segments/business experience is highly desired
IT cybersecurity and/or risk management certifications
Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - communicates in a clear and succinct manner, anticipates obstacles and develops plans to resolve
Ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment with limited direction
