The technology focuses on web development, with substantial backend service integration.
The Quality Excellence organization is responsible for quality assurance to enable great end-to-end experience for Reuters Products. The Quality Excellence organization is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer for Client Application Technology products.
You will become a member of our Quality Assurance Center of Excellence contributing and enhancing QA best practices at Reuters. As a member of our CoE, you will have equity and opportunity to drive quality standards across the entire Quality Assurance and Technology organization. You will collaborate with your peers to strengthen and preserve institutional knowledge of all things related to Quality Assurance. You will also be relied upon to mentor, and be mentored by other members, and foster Continuous Improvement.
Plan, develop and execute product quality strategies for Reuters Client Application Technology web and mobile applications end-to-end experiences.
Drive quality bar for the team with quality metrics, test plans, cases, scripts, and reports. Identify gaps and opportunities to improve test efficiency, and product quality.
Efficiently execute test cases across all functional areas of our products, identify, document, regress and track bugs. Work collaboratively to optimize test coverage.
Work in a global cross-functional team, provide QA feedback including test status, test progress, product quality, and process quality and be a vocal proponent for quality in the development life cycle.
Develop automated tests, scripts, and tools to enable CI/CD.
Partner with developers and DevOps teams to leverage automation for scalable solutions to ensure production reliability.

About You
You're a fit for the role of Quality Assurance Engineer if your background includes:
6+ years of demonstrated experience of quality engineering for both manual and automation testing.
Hands-on experience with developing test strategies, test plan and test cases, test execution, identify and track software defects and debugging.
Experience implementing and maintaining quality test automation for either web or mobile applications.
Experience testing high scalable system with Cloud Service.
Proficient in at least one programming language, such as Python, JavaScript or Java.
Knowledge of industry standard test automation tools & automation frameworks.
Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools and Agile practices.
Knowledge on Web Services, HTTP protocol, HTML, JSON, XML and basic networking.
Knowledge of Unix/Linux, Bash and SQL.
Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and related knowledge.
Experience of non-functional testing experiences. (e.g. security, performance, accessibility and data privacy compliance)
Experience communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
