The Sr. QA Engineer will be responsible for designing automated tests to validate the functionality of web and mobile applications. Their responsibility will be to create the initial test designs, write the scripts, install the automation testing protocols, and report the results.
Responsibilities
- Review and analyze system specifications.
- Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results
- Proficient in API testing & Mobile Testing.
- Performance Testing (Load Testing OR Cross Browser Testing)
- Excellent experience should be in Functional and non-functional Testing.
- Evaluate product code according to specifications
- Create logs to document testing phases and defects
- Report bugs and errors to development teams
- Help troubleshoot issues
- Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
- Create a large dummy dataset to do the performance testing
- Gather Performance Testing Requirements
- Conduct system performance testing to ensure system reliability, capacity, and scalability.
- Work with the testing team to develop performance test plans and cases.
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role
- Experience in project management and QA methodology
- Previous experience working as a QA Automation Engineer (Selenium tool)
- Good experience with automation testing tools.
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus.
- Attention to detail
- Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
- Write documentation for automated processes including test plans, test procedures, and test cases.
Education and Experience:
- 5+ years of experience as a Sr.QA Engineer / Lead QA Eng. working in the scrum agile development team
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
