We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Manual QA Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software testing methodologies passion for ensuring the quality of software applications. As a Manual QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the software development life cycle by conducting thorough testing to identify and resolve defects before the software is released to production.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Develop comprehensive test plans outlining test approach, resources, and schedule.
- Create detailed and we'll-structured test cases based on requirements and design specifications.
- Execute manual test cases to identify defects and ensure software meets quality standards.
- Perform regression testing to validate fixes and ensure no new issues arise.
- Clearly document and report defects, providing detailed information for developers to reproduce and resolve issues.
- Work closely with development team to understand changes and updates
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date testing documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test execution reports.
- Actively participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a Manual QA Engineer or in a similar role.
- Solid understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
- Experience creating and executing detailed test cases.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools and test management systems.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
