Sr Process Engineer

Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr Process Engineer to join our team in India. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing efficient processes and procedures to optimize production and reduce costs.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Develop process flow diagrams, P&IDs, and other engineering documents.
• Lead process hazard analyses (PHA) and risk assessments.
• Perform process simulations and modeling to optimize performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
• Provide technical support to production teams and troubleshoot process issues.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Train and mentor junior engineers.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• 8-19 years of experience in process engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of process simulation software such as Aspen HYSYS and/or UniSim.
• Experience with P&ID development and process flow diagrams.
• Experience leading process hazard analyses (PHA) and risk assessments.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements such as OSHA and EPA regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in mentoring and training junior engineers.
