The Role
We are looking for a dynamic and innovative Sr, Pricing analyst to join our team in Bangalore .
How you'll contribute
ASenior Pricing Operations Analystplays a crucial role in pricing operations. Here are the key responsibilities associated with this role:
- Provide operational and analytical support on new product launches, package updates, ad hoc deals, and other pricing initiatives.
- Partner with Pricing Strategy and Product teams in the US, Europe, and India as they hand off bundles, part lists and prices, set up codes and create and maintain accurate product and services pricing data within the CPQ.
- Manage the Product and Services part/prices intake, creation and maintenance process. Drive and sustain the SKU cleanup effort across the product portfolio.
- Assist Pricing Strategy and Product teams in structuring pricing for prospects and customers.
- Work closely with Product, Finance, Internal Systems and Contract teams to influence Pricing and SKU implementation to ensure feasibility & successful implementation through quote to cash processes.
- Solve pricing problems for Deals and Products by troubleshooting and resolving various product rules, pricing issues and data flow problems. Use strong knowledge of company pricing and how CPQ systems work to quickly identify and resolve any issues. In addition, work closely with CPQ Admin/IT team to ensure all products are configured correctly and pricing is correct.
- Manage change and release processes related to product and services pricing in the CPQ.
- Collaborate with Product, Sales Operations and Finance to release changes to production.
- Define and recommend system requirements (e.g., CPQ) and continued enhancements in partnership with Internal Systems and other key stakeholders.
- Apply Pricing and CPQ best practices based on business needs and requirements.
- Maintain a Pricing Action Request Database and Pricing Operations Methodology to document pricing and discount policies and processes to ensure consistency and compliance across the organization.
- Assist in the development of key performance indicators (KPI's), generate regular reports in partnership with Data/BI team on discounts, promotions, package mix, upsell and other relevant pricing metrics.
In summary, a Pricing Operations Analyst at Bottomline is responsible for accurate pricing, efficient CPQ pricing/parts implementation, and maintaining governance within the price setting cycle.

- Bachelor's degree in related field.
- 4+ years of Pricing Analyst, Business Analyst or Financial Analyst experience, preferably in SaaS.
- Proficient in CPQ capabilities (Apttus preferred), including complex product and pricing rules, multi-dimensional quoting, guided selling, and custom pricing models.If you're interested in this field, it's essential to stay updated on market trends and continuously refine pricing guidelines to optimize business outcomes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Project management skills including ability to manage projects across multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical, research and diagnostic and skills.
- Highly skilled at an advanced level in Excel and BI tools.
- Demonstrates ability to work cross functionally and manage stakeholder relationships.
Preferred experience:
- Experience with Apttus CPQ capabilities.
- Familiarly with products sold by a Fintech like Bottomline
