Job Description
Configure and maintain network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls) and software.
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot network issues to ensure optimal operation.
Implement and manage network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
Design and implement network topology changes to improve scalability and efficiency.
Manage network documentation and topology diagrams.
Administer and support physical and virtual servers, including installation, configuration, and updates.
Ensure server performance, availability, and reliability through proactive monitoring and maintenance.
Implement and manage server security protocols and patch management.
Perform routine backups and disaster recovery procedures to protect data integrity.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for network and server issues to internal users and teams.
Develop and maintain documentation for network and server configurations, processes, and procedures.
Assist with the onboarding of new employees by configuring and deploying network and server resources.
