We are searching for a Staff Software Engineer with experience in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence to join the Aviatrix EngProd AI team. In this role, you will be the founding engineer to develop and optimize our AI log detector/analyzer. This position requires a deep understanding of ML/AI algorithms, excellent programming skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
What You WILL DO:
- Research and integrate commercial AI log detectors/analyzers to identify and detect abnormal patterns in production logs.
- Learn and customize existing AI/ML models to fit our use case.
- Optimize and enhance models for improved performance and accuracy.
- Evaluate and validate model performance using appropriate metrics and validation techniques.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into existing systems and workflows.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following industry best practices.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in AI/ML technologies and incorporate them into the development process.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of experience in software development with a focus on AI/ML.
- Bachelor s, Master s, or PhD degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Proficiency in English communication, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in coding in one or more of the following languages: Python, Golang, C++, Java.
- Experience with ML frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, etc.
- Experience with data preprocessing techniques and tools.
- Familiarity with big data technologies and tools like Hadoop, Spark, or similar is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Prefer:
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, OCI).
- Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with Github Actions, CI/CD pipelines and tools.
- Contributions to open-source projects in the machine learning or software engineering community.
