Mechanical Design: Design and development of mechanical systems and components for defense applications.
CAD Modeling: Creating detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks) for parts, assemblies, and systems.
Material and Manufacturing: Material selection and manufacturing process considerations for mechanical components, ensuring compliance with performance, environmental and regulatory requirements.
Analysis: Conduct structural analysis using finite element analysis (FEA) tools to assess the strength, stiffness, and stability of mechanical designs.
Integration: Work closely with other engineering disciplines to integrate mechanical and electronic systems into overall product designs.
Testing and Validation: Developing and executing test plans to validate mechanical designs, including mechanical stress testing, vibration testing, and environmental testing.
Lead Project: Responsible of leading the project end to end.
Other requirements
Expose of leading and managing projects end to end.
Prior experience in military-grade hardware designing.
Hands-on drone (airplane/heli/quad) and robotics systems design.
Out-of-the-box thinker with a touch of realism.
Work with speed and rapid prototyping.
Goal-oriented with sharp focus.
Knowledge of a wide array of hardware used in defense ecosystem.
