Summary: Altiostar is searching for a technology thought leader with a dynamic personality to drive our innovative LTE OpenvRAN, 5G vRAN product security and software roadmaps.

Job responsibilities:

• Define product security requirements covering interface security and cloud native security.
• Work closely with Security standards experts and feed the standards compliant requirements into product.
• Primary contact for all product security issues.
• Good expertise in Cloud Native Security and K8s.
• Work with engineering to define and manage the end-to-end process for reporting and remediating vulnerabilities across all Altiostar products.
• Perform threat modeling, derive product requirements, conduct reviews of security architecture and platform/service designs, and audit source code.
• Support in RFP process.

Job requirement:

Good understanding of product security standards including system/software/application security

Knowledge of current communications industry, cyber security, IP networks, system engineering, quality/security standards and frameworks

Knowledge of TCP/IP services/protocols, networking, emerging technology trends and system integration

Knowledge of communication security protocols like IPSec, IKEv2, TLSv1.3, DTLS, CMPv2 etc.,.

Strong understanding of mobile networks technology and architecture

Exposure to cloud native security best practices in private and public clouds

Demonstrated skills in two or more areas listed below:

o Network and application security architectures

o Predictive and reactive security solutions

o Security threat and risk analysis

Security analytics tools and industry best practices

Ability to analyze product or solution security status from testing results, reports, architecture and audit results

The ideal candidate shall have the passion to explore the security loop holes in the product architecture, look at source code if necessary and suggest solutions for mitigating them.

Excellent communication and documentation abilities

Education and Experience:

Master's or bachelor's degree in engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science or Software Technology or equivalent education
