- Custodian of Labour Value Proposition:
- Serve as the custodian of all labour-related relationships and connections within the zone.
- Foster a positive work environment in labour colonies by formulating/implementing various labour specific activities.
- Ensure that the relevant benefits to attract/ retain labour at sites are brought forward and suggested for implementation.
- Monitoring/Governance of Labour Specific Initiatives:
- Ensure effective monitoring and implementation of a) various labour specific incentives (including Labour NPS) and b) policy norms defined in the GPL Labour Colony policy.
- Analyzing and Reporting/Recommendations:
- Analyze, report, and recommend (an objective perspective) on key actions to be taken for ensuring effectiveness of implemented initiatives and for necessary course corrections.
- Labour Mobilization (for ad-hoc requirement):
- Support in ad-hoc mobilization of labour through strategic relationships with sub-contractors and other relevant labour groups.
- Provide inputs in terms of contacts to OPs leadership (Zonal, Regional and Project) to improve labour mobilization.
Educational Qualification:
- Min. graduate with relevant experience in Construction industry for specific Zone.
- Additional education in labour laws and courses preferred
Experience:
- Relevant experience in labour management or a similar role in construction industry for zone
- Must have worked and had experience in handling portfolio of projects for similar role
Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills (reporting and analyzing data)
