Responsibilities:
In order to strengthen Schneider Electric's ESG risk mitigation processes in its upstream supply chain your mission is to:
- Contribute to the Social Excellence Program
As part of the Group's sustainability commitments, this program (SSE #12) aims to identify, prevent and mitigate decent work risks in a product supply chain, through multiple tiers of suppliers.
In collaboration with Global Human Right teams: define scope, methodology, process and tools to deploy the program:
- Detailed mapping of the product's supply chain: investigate and support ad-hoc initiative to create product traceability through tier 1 and tier 2 suppliers identification (collaborating with Resilinc ) and their assessment on Human Rights through self-assessment questionnaires and on-site audits
- Critical raw materials: support global initiative to identify and mitigate salient human rights issues linked to minerals (if necessary)
- Sensitive geographies: support deployment of new tools (such as Workers Voice, Human Rights Impact Assessments) to identify salient human rights issues in a given geography, working with service providers, procurement teams and suppliers
- Link Procurement teams with Human right team
- Propose (if necessary) update of questionnaire to suppliers
- Support program's definition and execution and propose improvements
- On site Audits
- If necessary for Social Excellence, define new audit standard (if decision is not to use RBA framework)
Execute corresponding on-site audits (may be in any country)
- Same for suppliers within Decent Work program
- Vigilance plan
In own region, support audit plan deployment and execution: on site audits, 3rd party management, if necessary, trainings to Procurement and Suppliers teams
Qualifications:
- Passionate about Ethics, Labor and EHS, with strong willingness to share knowledge
- Experience of on-site industrial audits
- Knowledge of EICC / RBA code of conduct and EHS, Labor and Ethics standards is a plus
- Strong skills in organization, project coordination and follow up
- Influence and communication (written and spoken) skills, capacity to interact with different levels in the organizations
- Bilingual: Local language and fluent English
- Travel: from 40% to 60% (including domestic and international)
- Minimum 6-year experience
- Good collaborative work style and strong Influence and Convince
- Self-directed. Self-motivated.
- Good communication and influence skills
