15+ year track record of relevant work experience and a Computer Science or related technical discipline
Dynamic leader who has directly managed a team of highly competent DevOps Engineers, Developers, DevOps Architects, technical managers & Support engineers in fast paced work environment.
Ability to work on multiple projects, with complex and challenging application, platform and Infrastructure requirements, and a keen sense of the DevOps models & tools.
Working familiarity with the entire development and deployment lifecycle including version control, build process, testing, and code release, CI/CD, tools, DevSecOps, SRE model and end-to-end DevOps processes.
DevOps & Operations experience in data & cloud engineering domain at scale
Experience in managing and maintaining Modern data platform/data warehouses, big data applications, Java/J2EE, ETLs, Cloud DevOps & Cloud Operations
Strong people management & people skillsfairness and ability to motivate and manage.
Good perceptive and analytical skills, with a keen business sense and a future perception of DevOps domain evolution
Possess confidence in self, along with good negotiation and client convincing skills.
Attending presales tech meetings to represent DevOps and ability to produce a proposal/RFI responses.
Inspire trust and confidence in the very first meeting with the customer/prospect.
Roles & Responsibilities
Develop and nurture teams of DevOps and Support Engineers by motivating and mentoring and assisting in hiring critical talent.
Inspire leadership and encourage innovation of ideas.
Help project teams in conceiving and implementing operational best practices to improve productivity & efficiency.
Define & suggest system NFRs, Security, Resiliency, DR, Five9 availability, Observability & Recovery, Blue/Green deployments for Production grade Enterprise Cloud & data platforms.
Define & suggest DevOps tools, DevOps models & Innovative ideas for efficient DevOps implementation.
Assist pre-sales in RFP submission on DevOps processes, models & solutions.
Identify and utilize best practices in the industry to maximize efficient and elegant DevOps solutions while minimizing cost.
Lead & manage multiple large DevOps engagements & regular program level reporting to internal & external stakeholders.
Identify upskilling needs as per the business objectives.
Assess client needs and requirements to ensure appropriate approach to solve client challenges.
