Leading & Executing long term strategy for an Compressors / Cooling / Motors / Gearbox commodity for India Team with Specific focus on Localization.
Your responsibilities will include
Lead & develop detailed strategic approach to manage Strategic sourcing of C&C commodity (Compressors Single Speed, Variable speed, Evaporator, Condenser, Heat exchanger, Vacuum insulated panels, cooling system etc) to set future targets across standards, cost, performance , warranty and Lead time.
Accountable for developing & executing a Category Sourcing Strategy plan with focus on Localization of Commodity with Make in India mind-set with Best cost solution.
Accountable for delivering Net Material cost Price Target for through Negotiations, Hedging of Raw Materials & Fx rate, Pre-buy/Inventory Support, Tariff Mitigation projects & most critical Localization projects
Building strong relationships with key stakeholders within the corporate, suppliers and factory levels to execute sourcing strategies for commodities to drive value and significantly impact bottom-line profitability.
Leading team and ensuring Talent Management, development, succession & retention Plan.
Devise and employ fruitful sourcing strategies to discover the most profitable suppliers and initiate business partnership
To be good in Data Information management, Financial reporting support from procurement perspective.
Manage Total Cost Of Ownership (BOM, Overall Cost Structure, Quality & logistics)
To be responsible as leader for Purchase order, SAP usage, Schedule Management, Supplier Insurance for daily production
Perform risk management regarding supply contracts and agreements
Analyzing and deciphering change / improvement opportunities to root cause and corrective actions
Monitoring , communicating and Driving progress on projects. Should be Good in Excel & Good Sheet.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & CERTIFICATIONS
- B.Tech. (Mechanical) / Electronics / Thermal
EXPERIENCE/ PREFERRED INDUSTRY
- 11-14 yrs of experience in the Automobile or Electrical Industry or Ref Industry
