Role Purpose
To manage, report and review monthly Opex and Capex for key stakeholders within reporting deadlines
To coordinate the implementation of the assigned FP&A task related to VB Opex/Capex determined by higher management levels and the realization of the operative program within the organizational unit, directing team of independently working employees
Review of assigned work from team members and ensuing adherence to control and compliance framework
Key accountabilities and decision ownership
Engage and leads the team to effectively reach the operational targets
- Build relationships with stakeholders and acts as first point of escalation
- Set controls and drive process improvements to maximise efficiency
- Manage team of apprx 6-7 employees as individual contributors
- Manage performance of team, set targets, evaluate results
- Foster collaboration in the team and with teams in LM FP&A
Key Job Description
Co-ordinate the month end Opex process for the Central Opex team
Production of Management Information packs and key reports for senior management and the business including in depth analysis and commentary on monthly performance.
Production of forecasts,budgets including engagement with Finance Partners
Ensure quality standards are met and maintained throughout the department through continuous education and promotion of best practice.
Act as Subject Matter Expert within the Opex CoE for some Central responsibilities
Ensure integrity of accounting, to continually develop process and support business performance where possible.Support in delivering finance change and continuous improvement projects as well as ad hoc project support
Responsible for developing insightful and accurate management and financial information to key stakeholders to support business decision making and cost management
Ability to deal with large volumes of data from multiple sources, work to tight deadlines and be organised in independently managing multiple deliverables and stakeholders. Proactive in approach and able to communicate at all levels, an excellent problem solver, analytical and demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy. Communicate effectively with team members to set targets and evaluate results with end objective of achieving targets. Maintain collaborative working relationships with immediate team, business finance, LM FP&A teams.Be proactive to drive continuous process improvement to create further efficiencies within the role in order to meet challenging objectives

Professional/technical skills
- CA , CIMA,MBA with minimum 8-12 years of experience preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Must ideally have team management skill of minimum 3 years
- Computer skills Word and advanced Excel, SAP,S4 Hana knowledge must
- Outstanding analytical and problem solving skills
- Independency at work with a self-starter, proactive attitude with accuracy, attention to detail
- Experience in a Shared Services environment is an advantage
- Able to work in within tight deadlines and stressful environment
