Position : Experienced Solution Architect (Telecom BSS)
Are you a seasoned Solution Architect with a proven track record in BSS systems such as CRM/Order Manager/Inventory/Billing. We seek a dynamic professional to join our team, bringing a wealth of experience to shape the technological landscape, in varied environment which includes COTS and in-house and bespoke applications which are hosted across various environments.
Primary Skills
- 11 to 15 years of information technology systems design and planning experience
- Understanding of Enterprise platforms and their architecture.
- Ability to influence and build relationships with key stakeholders, technology leadership, and development teams.
- Should be certified in TOGAF
- Good understanding of Infrastructure, Security and applications landscape such SaaS, infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), SOA, APIs, open data, microservices
- Good understanding and implementation experience of Cloud native technologies, Agile DevSecOps CI/CD pipelines
- Lead technology initiatives incubate and build tools & reusable assets for dev / Productivity enhancement.
- Do Proof of concepts and Create reusable assets / supporting artifacts based on the industry landscape.
Key Responsibilities
As a Solution Architect at our organisation, you will be entrusted with a range of tasks, including but not limited to:-
- Develop solution architecture, solution design, and other artefacts, presenting them in appropriate architecture forums.
- Lead discussions with Business and Technology stakeholders to develop and communicate the Solution Vision and Roadmap.
- Assess the impact of operational changes on system architecture and implement effective design solutions.
- Effectively collaborate with stakeholders to address concerns and deliver fit-for-purpose solutions.
- Understand business requirements and develop complex engineering solutions across various technologies (on-premises and Cloud).
- Create a solution vision, working with stakeholders to gather needs and requirements.
- Develop solution intent, capturing and documenting fixed and variable solution-level behaviours.
- Present and build support for proposed solutions with business and senior IT stakeholders.
- Work with other architects to develop a top-down services functional view for an integrated solution.
- Define non-functional requirements, including security, capacity, and performance considerations.
- Lead and participate in enterprise architecture activity along with identifying relevant and future technology architecture for the firm and its respective businesses
- Understand the current IT/Technology trends and analyze/identify the impact of each trend on the business segments within vertical in relation to area under purview.
- Support implementation of moderate to complex projects and initiatives and produce project architecture designs
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and capabilities in order to prepare and respond to needs and expectations of businesses
- Design and develop Architecture solutions to perform at scale. Conducts assessments for product/service portfolio of Line of Business for architectural impact, compliance and recommends actions.
- Drive Architecture review Board and advice on Technology, identify and drive appropriate research, technology investigation, and adoption. Advise on and drive architecture designs, patterns, and solutions.
- Provides in-depth technical and systems consultation to ensure alignment with the Enterprise Architecture.
- Promotes the leveraging of standard technologies, designs, and reference architectures in order to effectively meet business availability demands.
