Role Description
:
Data visualization is the representation of data or information in a graph, chart, or other visual format. It communicatesrelationships of the data with images. Visual summary of information makes it easier to identify patterns and trends thanlooking through thousands of rows of data. Charts and graphs make communicating data findings easier.
Role Responsibility
:
BI tools schema definition, design,implementation, and maintenance
Performance tuning, testing, andtroubleshooting of the BI solutions
Interpret business requirements to functionaland technical specifications
Setting up the development environment andconfiguration of the development tools
Manage, monitor, and ensure the security andprivacy of data to satisfy business needs
Work closely with DBAs on data model ordatabase changes
Participate in after-hours support rotation whenneeded
Communicate with all the project stakeholderson the project
Co-ordinating with the UAT team
Role Requirement
:
Experience in different visualization techniques,data profiling and data validation
Experience in gathering requirements anddocumentation processes
Experience in performing unit testing
Proficient in advanced SQL programming concepts
Good Knowledge of Data Warehouse concepts
Knowledgeable in relational databases,nonrelational databases, data streams, and filestores
Sound aptitude, outstanding logical reasoning, andanalytical skills
Willingness to learn and take initiatives
Ability to conduct query performance tuning
Ability to work with a diverse team and adapt tofast-paced Agile environment
Additional Requirement
:
Advanced Proficiency in Power BI - Creating complex dashboards and reports.
Strong skills in data modeling and building efficient data structures
Business Acumen - Ability to understand and translate business requirements intotechnical specifications and visual solutions.
Analytical thinking for translating data into informative reports and visuals.
Capable of implementing row-level security on data along with an understanding ofapplication security layer models in Power BI.
Should have an edge over making DAX queries in Power BI desktop.
Experience leading a team of developers and analysts.
Mentoring junior team members and providing technical guidance.
Strong project management skills to oversee the development lifecycle ofvisualization projects.
