K ey responsibilities associated with this position:

Invoice Processing and Payment:

• The Accounts Payable Manager oversees the processing of invoices received from vendors and suppliers. They ensure that invoices are accurately recorded, approved, and paid on time.

• This involves verifying the accuracy of invoice details, matching them with purchase orders or contracts, and resolving any discrepancies.

Vendor Management:

• The manager maintains relationships with vendors and suppliers. They negotiate payment terms, resolve payment issues, and address any concerns.

• Effective communication with vendors is essential to maintain positive relationships and ensure smooth transactions.

Financial Record Keeping:

• The Accounts Payable Manager ensures accurate record-keeping. They maintain a ledger of all payables, track expenses, and reconcile accounts.

• This information is crucial for financial reporting, audits, and budgeting.

Payment Disbursement:

• Managing payment disbursement is a key responsibility. The manager ensures that payments are made via checks, electronic funds transfers (EFT), or other methods.
