Your Role:
We are looking for a Sr Finance Associate who will play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in finance, strong analytical abilities, and a proven track record in managing various financial functions. You will support strategic decision-making through accurate financial reporting, budget management, and adherence to regulatory standards.
Key responsibilities:
Preparing accurate financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Developing and managing budgets, providing forecasts, and analysing variances to support strategic decision-making.
Establishing and monitoring internal control policies and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance.
Overseeing general accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
Ensuring adherence to financial regulations and laws and staying updated on changes that affect the organization.
MIS Closure: Monthly closing of books and MIS by the required date.
Audits: Getting internal and statutory audits done for respective areas.
Skills & Requirements:
Strong analytical skills in financial information and data management.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret balance sheets and profit and loss statements.
Experience in preparing and managing budgets and budgetary control systems.
Solid understanding of accounting principles and related standards.
Ability to handle and monitor large volumes of data and information.
Strong project management skills, ensuring smooth execution and oversight.
Proficiency in creating and delivering clear, impactful presentations.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting with Chartered Accountant (C.A.) certification.
Minimum of 8+ years of experience in finance and accounting.
Proven experience as a Finance Controller.
In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
Proficient in finance management tools and systems.
