Job Overview
We are hiring a Senior Engineer for the role of SR- Exterior Trims. This role requires 4 to 6 years of experience and will be based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. It is a full-time position.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- 4 to 6 years of experience in automotive exterior trim design
- Proficiency in CATIA V5 and CAD software
- Familiarity with automotive EDA tools and processes
- Strong knowledge of door seals, glazing, and brightware
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Roles and Responsibilities
- Design and develop automotive exterior trims, including door seals, glazing, and brightware
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure effective integration of exterior trims into overall vehicle design
- Utilize automotive EDA tools for designing and validating exterior trims
- Conduct feasibility studies and prototype evaluations to ensure quality and compliance with standards
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of exterior trim components
- Participate in design reviews and provide technical expertise for continuous improvement
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in automotive exterior trims
