Job Overview:
- Manage the subcontracting of machined components, vendor stock levels, and oversee planning, scheduling, and timely follow-ups for the delivery of components.
- Effectively negotiate with vendors to achieve optimal pricing and manage any conflicts that arise during the procurement process.
- Handle the sourcing and procurement of machined parts such as turned and ground components, specifically for batch and mass production.
- Demonstrate an understanding of turning, grinding, and CNC operations to ensure the accuracy and quality of procured components.
- Prepare and maintain accurate Management Information Systems (MIS) reports for procurement and vendor management.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels, ensuring that components are available to meet production schedules without overstocking.
- Utilize SAP for procurement processes, and manage data using MS Excel and PowerPoint for reporting and presentations.
