Description - The role is responsible for executing the entire Testing Function of the Electronics/ PCBA plant (includes PCBA PFT, ICT, ATE, Manual Testing, Final Testing, Validation, Internal Failure Repairing, Test Fixture wiring ).
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Good understanding of system design software (Lab VIEW)
- NI Lab VIEWapplication programming for IOT/I4.0, ATE & Remote Engg Solutions
- Design and maintain Lab VIEW-based applications to support testing operations
- Performance tuning, improvement, usability, and automation
- Create and maintain software development standards
- Evaluate new systems, technologies, and architectures to reduce development time, increase reliability, and to streamline operations
- Exposure to various Test equipment / Tester Assembly
- Knowledge of communication protocols (Modbus, Ethernet, CAN, SPI, RS232,RS485, GPIV etc)
- Electronic circuit knowledge: digital, analog, power and high voltage
- Proficient in the use of laboratory instruments and methods (DC Sources, Power Analyzer, Solar Simulator, High Voltage Tester etc)
- Experience with electrical, pneumatic and mechanical systems
- Familiarity with electrical safe work practices
- In-circuit test experience with ATE, ICT, PFT etc.
- Experience in developing Tests /Jig /Fixture for automatic execution.
- Hands-on Debug of test systems & PCBA. Good understanding of complex electronics schematic
Job Responsibilities:
- Assure compliance to DFM, DFA and DFT guidelines in the product designs through early involvement in the product development process
- Develop product test and equipment specifications
- Hands on supervision of testing prototype and pilot runs at electronic manufacturers /PCBA / Solar Inverter / Starter / VFD.
- Hands on supervision of qualification of specified test equipment.
- Estimate resources and expenses for test equipment /Fixture development
- Create test design documentation including test instructions, specifications, drawings and verification plans. SOP, Test Work Instruction as per ISO 9001 system
- Maintain and keep all technical documentation including Schematic, Design Specification, Test Report etc
- Create and maintain Calibration Plan for Test Equipments
- Actively participate in problem solving of manufacturing / quality issues.
- Responsible for ensuring that all Key Performance Indicators (KPI- s) for Profitability, On Time Delivery, FPY, Repair yield.
- Plan, organize the Testing operations of the plant to ensure the most effective return on assets and meet production goals.
- Develop new strategies/solutions to improve value in product and process.
- Reporting First Pass Yield (FPY)j , Report on Test Results (Failure , Repair) on a regular basis to the Management team.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical & Electronics / Electronics Engineering.
- 4 - 6 Years of experience in Electronics Testing (Preferably from PCBA / Electronics, Inverter Manufacturing)
- Ability to understand and develop test strategies for electrical and electronic products i.e Inverter / Motor Starter
- Knowledge of PCB Assembly Process, wave solder, reflow solder, SMT and equipment.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and ERP /SAP reporting skills preferred
