Responsibilities
- Analyze workplace performance compared to similar facilities and best in class standards.
- Allocate necessary resources to ensure high-quality, productive, and safe work environments in line with corporate standards.
- Collaborate with the HQ team and architects to incorporate all facility requirements during the design stage.
- Ensure smooth operation and maintenance functions.
- Manage all aspects of property maintenance, including electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and general facility management.
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise preventive maintenance checks for key utilities such as D.G. Sets, Chillers, AHU Units, UPS, and other utilities.
- Plan and manage the physical environment and space utilization, including overseeing all construction, renovation, and interim decoration work.
- Supervise and plan the movement of inventories in the administrative stores.
- Ensure the overall security of the facility, including maintaining security and fire protection systems, and providing training on safety practices and security systems.
- Monitor and renew annual maintenance contracts for various utilities and lease agreements.
- Liaise with government authorities such as Municipal Corporations, MPCB, Electricity Board, and other statutory bodies.
- Ensure compliance with STPI/SEZ regulations and environmental standards.
- Implement best practices for energy conservation.
- Coordinate and facilitate the setup of communication meetings, special events, exhibitions, and seminars.
- Maintain positive relations with staff, contractors, public officials, and the general public.
- Review and revise programs within the assigned area to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, policies, plans, and procedures.Participate in budget development, monitor expenditures according to budget allocations, and recommend cost-saving measures.
- Review monthly/quarterly variance reports for all sites in a timely manner.
- Manage AHU, electrical/DB panels, and UPS.
- Handle vendor bills and invoices, and follow up with the finance team to ensure timely payment.
Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in supervising a team.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks concurrently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).Go-getter attitude.
Experience And Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 6 years of work experience in Facilities Management with an emphasis on the operational management of large, multi-site corporate facilities.
- Prior experience with either an MNC or a reputable IT/ITES service industry.
- Experience in managing large facilities.
