Sr. Executive Presales Server & Storage

1.Must co-ordinate work closely with sales team help them to close server, storage, HCI, backup solution deals by providing best fit cost-effective OEM solution.

2.Should be able to understand the customer use case, problem statement, applications that will be used.

3.Candidate must have proven experience in designing, sizing on-prem server, storage, HCI solution as per customer requirement.

4.Must have proven experience in designing data backup solution provide proof-of-concept to customer.

5.Candidate must have knowledge on using any 3 OEM sizing tools like HPE OCA, Simplivity sizer, Dell EMC configurator, NetApp Fusion tool, Pure Storage sizer, Nutanix Sizer, Cisco CCW, etc.

6.Should have strong understanding about protocols like SMB, NFS, iSCI, FC, NVMeoF.

7.Minimum 2 OEM SE certification is a must.

8.Candidate will be responsible has to take entire ownership to provide proof of concept if required for any critical use case as per customer's requirement.

9.Should have the ability to proactively explore do up-selling cross-selling in customer account.

10.Candidate should have excellent communication presentation skills. Fluency in English is must.

11.Must have strong relation with major OEMs like HPE, Cisco, Dell EMC, Lenovo, NetApp, Nutanix, VMware, Citrix, Rubrik, Veeam, Veritas, Commvault should work closely with them.

12.Candidate must work closely with customer, understand their post-sales expectation define the scope of work for deployment provide a tentative cost to sales team.

13.For any complex solutions like backup, virtualization/HCI, storage DC-DR, candidate must have skills to prepare a schematic diagram of proposed solution present it to the customer.

Requirements

Required Skills Experience

- Experience in designing sizing complex on-prem server and storage solution around HPE, Lenovo / IBM, Dell EMC, Hitachi Vantara, NetApp, Cisco UCS, Cisco HyperFlex, Pure Storage, Rubrik.

- Hands-on experience with various OS (Microsoft Windows, Redhat), virtualization platforms (VMware ESXi, Microsoft Hyper-V, KVM, HCI platform and Container).

- Good knowledge understand working of backup and archival solution such as Rubrik, Veritas, EMC Networker, EMC Data Domain, Veeam, Commvault, Acronis, etc.

- Good knowledge in virtualization and cloud (IaaS) technology

- Customer service oriented, good team player, technically inclined

- Must have presentation skills to explain the proposed solution data flow to the customer.

- Must be effective in working both independently and in a team setting.

Desired Skills Certifications (preferred)

Product and technology certifications such as,

- Server (Dell EMC, IBM, HPE, Cisco UCS, Lenovo, Supermicro)

- Storage (Pure Storage Architect Associate, Dell EMC, Hitachi Vantara, NetApp, HPE)

- Backup (any 2: Veeam, Veritas Netbackup, Veritas Backup Exec, EMC Networker)

- VMware certification VTSP minimum. VCP will be an added advantage

- Good knowledge on hyper-converged infrastructure (Nutanix, Azure HCI Stack, VMware)

- Working knowledge of Active Directory

- Working knowledge of Oracle DB, MySQL, MS SQL

- Familiar with OEM subscription licensing e.g. Microsoft licensing, VMware licensing, Oracle licensing, RHEL, SAP HANA etc.

Educational Qualification:

- Minimum Graduate (B.Sc/BCS/B.E. in Computers / ETC etc) from reputed university. Diploma / PG holders not required.
