The team you will be a part of
The Manufacturing Maintenance team plans, prioritizes and manages technical service activities to ensure that the team's resources are used effectively and that customer service agreements are fulfilled. Develops, evaluates and reviews technical service procedures and standards. Monitors the cost and effectiveness of activities to optimize resources, prioritize spending and achieve timeliness, reliability and customer satisfaction standards.
This role in summary
To ensure more than
- 5% up-time for on-line and more than 98% up-time for off-line machines on the production floor.
Your responsibilities will include
Equipment maintenance for machine uptime
Execute daily preventive measures to avoid any breakdowns during production
Analyze the root cause of breakdowns and planning the corrective actions for long term
Support the stores department through spare part management and availability assurance
Prepare the flowchart for machine installation, taking into consideration machine costing, analysis of spares usage and cost
Hold bi-annual discussion with team regarding forecasting of spare parts requirement, cash-flow and cost saving methods
Repair and maintenance
Maintain equipment/critical spare parts for Administration purposes (Conveyors,foaming,thermoforming ,sheet metal machines))
Develop and manage vendors to support Procurement team
New projects
Provide technical support or modifications as per the need of Process and Projects, Tool-room and Production departments
Contribute in cost saving projects- planning and execution
Safety
Keep awareness among operators regarding machine safety issues and manage concerns if any
Environment, Health, Safety and Quality Issues
Inform the concerned authority and the reporting manager about any issues and concerns detected.
Accountable for any complaints registered with self regarding the same, if any.
Minimum requirements
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
B.Tech/B.E. (Production/Mechanical)
Preferred:Specialization/expertise in any one area of Maintenance
AGE
3035 Yrs
EXP.
8-10 years
Preferred skills and experiences
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
TECHNICAL
Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic systems and machine assembly parts
Experience of working on special purpose machines
Knowledge of reliability tools (MTBR Mean Time Between Repair etc.) and equipment life cycle
