As an integral part of Ocean Freight Export Operations/ Documentation, an incumbent role in ensuring the efficiency of Export processes within the specified region. The role of OFR (Ocean Freight Operations) involves supporting the intricacies of ocean-bound cargo movements. It involves coordinating with various processes, including vessel scheduling, cargo documentation, interaction with ocean carriers to constantly strive for optimizing efficiency, regulations, and maintaining high standards of service.

Operatio nal Excellence:
- Ensure cost-effective and high-quality export ocean freight operations.
- Assist in procuring and managing cargo capacity efficiently, overseeing all port operations.
- Ensure operational compliance and error-free documentation.
- Responsible for the smooth execution of export shipments, adhering to customer requirements, country regulations, and customs trade practices.
- Ensure regulatory compliance related to AMS, ACI, ISF, and FMC filing.
- Implement CW1 Best Practices, including auto rating, auto costing, timely and accurate cost estimation, billing, ESI & E-Booking, milestone updating, and file closure.
- Achieve set operational performance targets.
- Proactively address and manage operational irregularities.
- Efficiently handle customer complaints and plug potential revenue leakages.
- Avoid claims and penalties due to service failures.
- Adhere to agreed SOP/COP for releasing documents to customers (Cash/Credit).
- Manage the vendor payment process and shipment tracking.
- Coordinate with Gateway Operation Team for CFS stuffing containers & consol.
- Collaborate with PCM team for carrier rates filing.
- Taking complete responsibility for independently managing customer accounts, guided by both supervisor and manager, following the one file, one operator approach.
- Drive the implementation of sustainable environmental practices within the ocean freight operations, contributing to corporate social responsibility goals.
Stakeholder Management
- Enhance customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional services.
- Manage relationships with carriers, suppliers, and the network.
- Interface with the sales team and customer service team.
Customer & Network Support:
