Sr. Engineer, Project, SSR Minerals

We are now looking for a mechanical engineer with basic design knowledge to join our project management team in Gurgaon, India. We deliver our support in the aftermarket sales to our aggregate and mining customers across PAN India. In this role you will perform the collection of information in enquiry stage and project execution work for services related jobs like chute lining, feasibility study of retrofit of screens, customized structures etc.

As Project Engineer (Mechanical) you will:

• Travel to sites to get the dimensional data of existing screen, structure, chutes, chute linings, metallic, rubber liners.
• Considering the information from site we need to prepare report for providing basic information to TSS & Sales team to offer the suitable retrofit solution.
• Sharing idea about the feasibility of execute the customer enquiry as package solution like dismantling of existing equipment, modification of associated items , installation of retrofit solution , commissioning and handover.
• After delivery at site, you need to guide, supervise the installation and fitment job at customer site.
• Co-operate with Internal and external stakeholders.

To Succeed, you will need:

• A diploma / degree in Mechanical engineering.
• Basic engineering knowledge to prepare layout diagram of existing installation.
• Project Oriented working methods
• Capability to work independently and pro-actively.
• Ability to communicate in English.
