Detailed description:
- To perform the role of Program Coordinator for processing of Supplier PPAPs related to global programs.
Key Result Areas for the role are as follows:
(I) Program Coordinator process:
- To perform Supplier PPAP tracking and follow up for the global programs.
- Periodical PPAP follow up with supplier through email and scheduling meetings in TEAMS.
- Contacting the internal cross functional team (Component Engineering, Category SQ, PD, Program Buyer, Commodity Buyer, and Program Manager) for PPAP submission queries/clarifications.
- Reviewing and responding to the queries of internal and global cross functional team.
- Risk Assessment classification of Level A, B, and C parts and to obtain approval from Category SQ Leads.
- Adhere to the Visteon Escalation process.
- Ensuring completeness of information in the updated BOM from program buyer prior to uploading in PPAP Tracking System (PTS).
- Uploading the latest BOM from program buyer in PTS and tracking the PPAP status.
- Risk assessment form uploading in Enterproj.
- Assigning the APQP to Category SQ for Level A parts.
- Updating the latest program status in weekly program review meeting.
- Coordinating with VISPSW for ensuring latest PPAP status in PTS.
- Perform Program Risk Matrix for the programs based on program buyer request.
(II) Database Management:
- Periodical and timely update of PPAP status in PTS and enterProj for the global programs.
(III) Metrics reporting:
- Sharing the minutes of meeting of program PPAP status to the global team.
Performance Indicators:
- % of PPAPs submission on or before PPAP need date for a given program.
Demonstrated skills and abilities:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (ECE, EEE, Mechanical).
- Overall, 6 to 8 years experience within a supply quality role preferably in the automotive sector.
- Understanding of electronic manufacturing and components would be an advantage.
- Analytical, numerically astute with strong demonstrated problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrate attention to details and accuracy.
- Experience in dealing with global customers and suppliers.
- Able to manage time effectively, priorities tasks and achieve set targets.
- Fluent in English language.
- Good communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office.
