Strong Programming skills in C/C++ and Embedded C.
Good understanding of any Embedded RTOS like TI RTOS, FreeRTOS is a must.
Strong embedded wireless domain & Good protocol firmware experience in Sub-GHz and 2.4GHz ISM bands.
Worked extensively on 802.15.4(2006) MAC Protocol stack will be a huge advantage.
Hands-on wireless protocol design & development experience using 802.15.4, ZigBee, Bluetooth/BLE, Wi-Fi, Thread.
Wireless protocol porting, enhancements to support customer requirements and project CTQs.
High level programming languages like C, Embedded C on RF SOCs from TI, Atmel, NXP/Freescale, Ember, STMicro, Broadcom etc.
Relevant hardware-software co-design experience and understands the basics of RF, transceivers, standards & regulatory requirements.
Power consumption estimation and Timing analysis of battery-operated devices, Hands on debugging skills using TI, Wireshark, Ubiqua, Perytons Sniffers etc to understand over the air traffic.
Should have worked on 1-2 complete product development with firmware design & development experience.
Strong real time embedded firmware design & RTOS experience.
Understands system & product architecture and requirements and proficient in design from the embedded system challenges with ownership.
Must be good at independent handling of tasks with least supervisor involvement and ability to quickly adapt to changes in requirements.
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Domain knowledge in home automation, Security, Fire and/or Intrusion will be a plus.
Wireless technologies like Thread, Low Power WiFi, IoT frameworks will be a plus.
Travel up to 25% of the time.
YOU MUST HAVE:
BE in ECE or E&C from a reputed educational institution and a good academic track.
Should have at-least 3-5 years of experience in a reputed organization with 1 to 2 years in the position.
Added advantage to have a relevant ME/MS degree.
Preferable to have created patents and publications & represented Organization in industry conferences.
