Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
Examine requirements and design solutions, create value-addition by utilizing model-based design in the automotive technology development process.
Produce production code automatically with EC/RTW/Target Link for the product architecture.
Conduct an expert-level review, resolve and debug model design issues and challenges, and ensure that the model standards (AUTOSAR, ISO26262, MISRA) and guidelines are met.
Perform Model validation (MIL, SIL), test development, code coverage, static code analysis.
Conduct a peer review of the design solutions created by team members.
Compile the SW build steps for preparing the ECU firmware and patch with vehicle calibration data.
Experience
Minimum of 2 to 4 years of embedded software development and testing experience
Qualifications
Industry Preferred
B.E / B. Tech / M.E / M. Tech with first class and relevant experience in model-based design and development
General Requirements
- Strong knowledge of MATLAB and Simulink based plant model development, algorithm and controller design and verification.
- Strong experience in product development using MATLAB, Simulink, State flow, Embedded Coder/RTW and associated control system toolboxes, IBM, Rhapsody Doors/ ClearCase, Reacts, Analyzer, Canoe and Dspace Target Link etc.
- Strong fundamentals in any of the following Automotive Functional Design (EV Powertrain, BMS, MCU, CCS, EV Charging, OBC).
- Experience working in CAN/LIN/Flex Ray Protocols, Vehicle Architecture and Diagnostics.
- Knowledge of MIL, PIL and SIL and automated test environment development.
- Understanding with the test coverage (MC/DC, Decision, conditional and Boundary
- Knowledge of ISO26262, AUTOSAR, MISRA and MAAB Modelling guidelines.
- Good Knowledge in embedded C/ Other Similar Programming languages.
- Experience with Vector based analysis and development tools.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Good skills with respect to Abstract and logical reasoning.
