Position Title: Sr. Engineer - CVPD - Body Systems

Compensation Range: 10,00,000 - 18,00,000 per annum
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Senior Engineer specializing in CVPD (Computer-Aided Vehicle Product Development) focusing on Body Systems to join our automotive manufacturing team. This role involves design, development, and validation of body systems using advanced CAD tools and engineering principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design & Development: Utilize Catia and GD&T principles to design and develop body systems components for vehicles.
- Engineering Analysis: Perform engineering analysis, feasibility studies, and simulations to ensure design integrity and performance.
- Prototyping & Testing: Lead prototype development and testing of body systems components to validate design concepts and functionality.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including R&D, production, and quality assurance to ensure alignment with project timelines and objectives.
- Documentation: Prepare technical documentation, reports, and design specifications according to industry standards and regulations.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives in design processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Project Management: Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources effectively to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Automotive Engineering.
- Experience: 4-20 years of experience in CVPD focusing on body systems design and development within the automotive industry.
Skills:
- Proficiency in Catia and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
- Strong knowledge of body systems engineering, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Experience in prototype development, testing, and validation.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and project management skills.
