About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer specializing in Computer Vision and Pattern Detection (CVPD) for Body Systems within the automotive manufacturing sector. This role involves designing and developing body systems using advanced CAD tools and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Development: Utilize Catia software and other CAD tools to design and develop body systems components.
- Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing: Apply GD&T principles to ensure accurate design specifications and tolerances.
- Prototyping: Create prototypes and conduct feasibility studies for new body systems components.
- Technical Analysis: Perform technical analysis and simulations to validate design concepts and optimize performance.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including design, engineering, and production to ensure seamless integration of body systems components.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct quality assurance checks and inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and industry standards.
- Documentation: Prepare technical documentation, reports, and specifications for design reviews and project documentation.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.Tech/BE) or a related field.
- Experience: 4-20 years of experience in automotive design engineering, specializing in body systems.
Skills:
- Proficiency in Catia and other CAD software tools.
- Strong knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
- Experience in prototype development and testing.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
