Job Description

Job Title : Sr.Engineer / Assistant Manager Sales and Marketing -Comminution

Purpose of Role:

This position will handle the Comminution product sales in Southern States of India (Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra & Telangana). Position will be responsible for complete sales cycle i.e. quote to cash. Development of Territory, tracking competition and deriving counter strategies, co-ordination with Cross functional teams to deliver customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identifying potential crushing zones / territory and opportunities in served market
  • Building relationship with key stake holders like Infrastructure contractors, customers, financiers/ bankers in the region
  • Initiating sales promotional activities in served market
  • Generation of enquiries
  • Create and develop business from existing and new prospects
  • Budget forecasting and meeting the numbers on pro-rata basis
  • Techno commercial proposals preparation
  • Handling techno-commercial discussions and order conclusion
  • Building relationships with cross functional team and co-ordination for the successful commissioning / completion of the project
  • Payment collection as per PO terms
  • Co-ordinating after sales service support

Key Performance Indicators

  • Achievement of order input & Output as per the agreed budget and terms
  • Achievement of collection targets
  • Dispatch clearances with payment receipts in line with forecast
  • New Customer & territory addition
  • Close watch and feedback to reporting Manager on competition
  • MIS submission as per required timelines

Safety Responsibilities:

  • Follow Safety norms as per Weir Group SHE policy and WMI IMS Policy
  • Facilitate safety trainings as per the company norms and standards
  • Facilitate safety events as per the company requirements
  • Hazard identification and closure of it
  • Active involvement in safety activities

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

  • Required : B.E / B Tech / Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Minerals Processing discipline

Experience :

  • Minimum 5 years in Crushing & Screening sales In Southern Indian states

Language Proficiency : English along with Tamil / Kannada/ Telugu/ Malayalam / Hindi

  • Market Dynamics : Technology/ Industry Know how / Competition / commodity pricing knowledge
  • Market Networking : Customer & Supplier know how / customer relationship management
  • Excellent Communication & Presentation skills
