Specialized in development of Power Electronics/Embedded/Analog hardware/Control as per the requirements.
Deep understanding of basic electronics circuit design with a focus on Power Electronics, power topologies, switching power devices, gate drivers, current, voltage, speed sensing etc.
Must have clear understanding of microcontroller based digital control/ control loop (speed/current), PWM gereration/sampling ADC signals and their various interfaces like UART, I2C, CAN, Ethernet, USB etc.
Should understand interfacing various types of hardware transducers and sensors.
Should have competency to handle end to end electronic hardware development for various sub-systems.
Should be able to understand and develop electronics jigs for testing of the various subsystems.
Should be able do component selection and develop schematics as per the functional, electrical, and environmental requirements.
Working with and reviewing the work of PCB Design engineer. Should have a clear understanding of the layout design practices in terms of both EMI/EMC compliance as well as DFM considerations.
Experience in developing Motor Control Software (C, C++) and Control (speed, current, voltage) Algorithm development
Develop Architectural concepts for Hardware/Software Platform for Battery design, Chargers, Motor drivers and other Power Electronics sub-systems
Strong knowledge on algorithm development, mathematical formulations, and analytical assessments
Supporting the estimation process for new projects, features or changes
Supervising and reviewing the critical development work products of the developers
