Designation - Sr.Embedded Application Engineer

• Experience - 6 to 10 yrs

• Location - Kharadi , Pune

• Key Responsibilities:

1) Design and Development:

- Lead the architecture, design, and development of embedded systems and software.

- Develop firmware and software for microcontrollers, microprocessors, and embedded

systems.

- Implement and optimize algorithms for performance and resource utilization.

- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

2) Hardware-Software Integration:

- Collaborate with hardware engineers to design and interface with custom hardware.

- Develop and debug hardware drivers and BSPs (Board Support Packages).

- Ensure seamless integration between hardware and software components.

3) Project Management:

- Lead project planning, estimation, and execution to meet deadlines and deliverables.

- Manage and mentor junior engineers, providing technical guidance and support.

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including hardware, software, QA, and product

management.

4) Testing and Debugging:

- Develop and execute test plans to validate embedded systems and software.

- Debug and resolve complex issues related to hardware and software interactions.

- Utilize tools like oscilloscopes, logic analysers, and debuggers for troubleshooting.

5) Documentation and Compliance:

- Create and maintain detailed design documents, specifications, and user manuals.

- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

- Participate in code and design reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables.

• Qualifications:

• Education:

- Bachelor&Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer

Science, or a related field.

• Experience:

- Minimum of 6-10 years of experience in embedded systems development.

- Proven experience of Embedded wizard with embedded C/C++ programming.

- Experience with RTOS (Real-Time Operating Systems) and embedded Linux.

- Experience with hardware interfaces and communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, CAN,

etc.).

- Experience with protocols like CANOpen, UDS, KWP etc

• Skills:

- Strong understanding of microcontrollers, microprocessors, and embedded architectures.

- Proficiency in debugging and troubleshooting embedded systems.

- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., PTC).

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with ARM Cortex series or other similar microcontroller architectures.

- Knowledge of safety-critical systems and standards (e.g., ISO 26262, MISRA).

- Experience with wireless communication technologies (e.g., Bluetooth, Zigbee, Wi-Fi).

- Experience in automotive, medical devices, or industrial automation sectors.
