Job Title: Sr. Devops Engineer - Cloud Infrastructure

We are seeking a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer with a strong background in cloud infrastructure and cloud devops to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and ensuring seamless integration and deployment processes. You will play a crucial role in enhancing our software development lifecycle, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security of our applications.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a DevOps role, with a demonstrated track record of developing, maintaining, and scaling CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure.

Expertise in cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), with hands-on experience managing and scaling cloud infrastructure.

Strong experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), particularly in scaling and managing containerized applications.

Solid scripting skills (e.g., Shell, Python, Groovy) and experience with automation tools, with an emphasis on automating and scaling complex systems.

Deep knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git), CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI), with a focus on scalability and efficiency.

Strong understanding of network fundamentals, security protocols, and best practices, especially in the context of scaling secure, high-performance applications.

Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proven track record of scaling solutions in high-demand environments.

Strong communication and collaboration skills, capable of mentoring team members and interfacing effectively with other departments on scaling initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for a range of projects, guaranteeing smooth and dependable deployment of software and updates.

Proactively monitor system performance, design, and implement strategies to improve scalability, reliability, and efficiency. Respond to and troubleshoot incidents, ensuring high availability and performance at scale.

Integrate security practices into development and deployment processes, manage and configure security tools and services, emphasizing the importance of a security-first approach in scalable solutions.

Collaborate with development teams to comprehend requirements and implement DevOps solutions that support scalable development workflows.

Continuously evaluate and integrate new technologies and tools to improve and scale the development and deployment processes.

Document DevOps processes, practices, and tools related to scaling solutions, and mentor junior DevOps team members in these areas.
