- DevOps Engineer we need expertise in Cloudformation, AWS and EKS experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and manage AWS infrastructure using AWS CloudFormation.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles to automate provisioning and configuration.
- Manage and optimize AWS services and resources for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Work with AWS Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) to deploy and manage containerized applications.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated application deployment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application-related issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the scalability, security, and reliability of our systems.
- Scripting and Coding: Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby, and knowledge of version control systems like Git.
- Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies in the DevOps and cloud space.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, with a focus on AWS services.
- Strong experience with AWS CloudFormation for infrastructure automation.
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or AWS CDK.
- Proficiency in Kubernetes and experience with AWS EKS.
- In-depth knowledge of CI/CD tools and practices.
- AWS certification(s) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong scripting and automation skills (eg, Python, Bash).
- Knowledge of containerization and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (eg, Prometheus, ELK stack).
- Experience with version control systems (eg, Git).
