Sr.Design Engineer/ AM Design for our Client who is into manufacturing of premium products for Sealings and Fluids. Please find the details below.
- Position: Sr.Design Engineer
B.E. Mechanical or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Plastics / Rubber Technology with minimum 8 years experience in a similar field
- Hands-on experience in new product development
Experience in automotive sealing development / manufacturing systems will be preferred.- Minimum language skills: English, Hindi
Excellent communication skills
Leading and guiding Engineering / CFT teams- Experience in Catia V5 is must.
Ability to drive results
- APQP process knowledge, IATF requirements
Hands-on experience in new product development with good problem-solving skills
Manage RFI/RFQ engineering deliverables- Understand SOR's / product design requirements from 3D/2D/testing/OEM specifications and convert them into product design.
Communicate product engineering requirements to operations and cross functional teams located at the company's different plants.
- Support plant teams for part manufacturing especially during new development, problem solving, and in matters related to quality requirements.
Support customer reviews, and visits related to the engineering role in product development.- Coordinate with quality labs, both, in-house and external test agencies
Work on new product initiatives including VAVE trials and sample coordination
- Ensure engineering changes are well understood at plant level
Actively support part manufacturing and feasibility- Guide design engineers in working on 2D/3D/CAE and engineering deliverables.
