Responsibilities include activities related to RF board design like:
- Schematics Entry. (Orcad or equivalent)
- PCB Designing and related Activities. (Allegro or equivalent)
- Analog Circuit Designing.
- Power Supply Layout
- High Speed Digital design layout: Exposure to High-speed interfaces such as PCIe, USB, DDR3 etc.
- Understanding and coming up with PCB Stack up
- Knowledge of Signal and Power Integrity fundamentals.
- Understanding of functionality of different IOs.
- Design & development of Up / Down converter chains
- Design of T/R modules for Phased Array Radar systems
- Design and development of RF PCBs, review of schematics, layout
- Interactions with the cross functional teams such as PCB development, Mechanical System design, RF subsystems, Control System Design & Software development. Support for Unit / Subsystem testing, assembly & integration, System Testing & Validation
Experience & Skills required:
- Hands-on experience on RF system design & simulation tools such as ADS
- Knowledge of electromagnetic simulation tools such as HFSS, CST, or similar software
- Experience in RF link budget, up/down converter design, RF PCB design, TR modules, antenna design and selection of RF components.
- Knowledge of test equipment like spectrum analyzer, signal generator, VNA.
- Experience of design & development of phased arrays system is an advantage
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
