A senior DE who can do the expert-level work and review work of other colleagues (this is not a management position but hands on)
- We want to see him/her bring best practices to the team good coding and work organization practices; best practices for data management, and data transformation
- Candidate should have good expertise on cloud platform Focus on Azure (less or none on AWS apart from integration cases)
- Hands on with Big data technologies python , pyspark
- Expertise with ETL technologies Azure data factory / AWS Glue (here we prioritize MS and Fabric tools in particular, but are open for more experience if relevant)
- Decent experience with Business Intelligence tool PowerBI (less important for this role, comparatively; but a bonus would be ability to do a semantic layer data modelling)
- Has experience with best practices in data platforms ideally also building, maintaining, designing a common data model
- Has experience with Microsoft cloud/data platform technologies ideally Fabric, but could be also previous iterations, like Synapse etc.
- AI and automation of mapping of ETLs is a bonus, but not necessary
- Work location remote / hybrid model from McKinsey office (mostly remote, with options to travel for some in person workshops and collocation).
- MS Fabric and Azure Data Engineer certifications
