This role is in the ClientDataServices team, responsible fordatarelated functions in Client.

Direct Responsibilities:

Design and Delivery: Work as the primary offshore resource for anydataservices work required by IT teams, vendors, and consultants. Work as part of the team for applications, especially offshore associates mainly focused around new projects (DB components for applications including DB, ETL, etc.). Will be collocated with App dev team in Chennai, and will be integral part of project teams including those resources. Will handle design and development of alldatacomponents including storage, ETL,dataconsumption, performance improvement, etc

SME: Develop expertisein applications and solutions and serve asdataconsultant for projects, escalations from operational support for issues Keep updated on new technologies and trends in thedataarea. Utilize knowledge and experience to shape technology road maps, address tech debt. Share knowledge with team and help develop collective expertise

Operations support: Help with overseeing offshore Operational support team. Serve as escalation point and co-ordinate with other teams for issue resolution as needed

Require experience and Technical knowledge:

Expert in currentdatatechnologies, specifically around Microsoft and Azuredataproducts and solutions. Includes (but not limited to)

MS SQL

Azure components like Azure SQL, ADF,Databricks delta tables,Databricks notebooks, ADLS, Synapse,

Familiarity with other MS/Azure components like Fabric, Unity Catalog, LogicApps, Log Analytics

Minimum 5 years experience as a DBA,dataadministrator

Minimum 5 years experience working in development and support of enterprise level applications and systems

Experience designingdataecosystems includingdatastores (operational systems,datalakes,datawarehouses,datamarts), ingress patterns (API, ETL/ELT), and egress patterns (analytics/decision tools, BI tools);datamodels

Managing hygiene related to logs anddatabase sizes, back-ups, space utilization, process performance etc.

Managingdatataxonomy, cataloguing and governance

Improving query performance, Optimizing table designs

Intermediate techniques for movingdata

Datalanguage skills (Python, Advanced T-SQL etc)
