Roles And Responsibilities
Experience in recent industry trends, software development methodologies (both Waterfall and Agile) and several distributed technology stacks.
Demonstrated ability to create system architecture diagrams and documentation for review by both technical and non-technical audiences
Demonstrated skills in exercising initiative, good judgment, and making sound technical decisions
Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to propose and assess the appropriateness and quality of solutions for moderate to complex solutions
Skilled in leading, guiding, mentoring, and influencing design and architectural discussions
Experience with debugging tools Compuware Abend-Aid, both batch and CICS
Attend stand-up meetings and provide updates
Contribute in practice growth initiatives Interviews, training, mentoring, operational activities etc.
Plan and grow practice/account through support to proposals and proposal defiance
Provide support to delivery for technical issues, escalations and reviews and to help in deploying in a customer environment.
Create documentation of operational tasks, procedures and automated processes.
Fix faults and restore the operability or carry out suitable measures (creation of workaround)
Required Technical And Professional Expertise
Experience in software development in mainframe languages (COBOL, CICS, DB2, and VSAM)
Excellent knowledge of FIS (Systematics) software and functional knowledge of distributed application design and architecture
Possesses technical knowledge based on experience and highly skilled in (COBOL, CICS, DB2, and VSAM)
Strong application programming experience in JCL,REXX. At least 1 traditional mainframe language
Prefer experience in Java/Python/Spark/Scala
Strong understanding of hardware and operating systems
