The Global Credit & Collection Team is looking for a Sr. Credit Risk & Collection Analyst. This role is responsible for achieving assigned F&A roles to reach organizational vision, & these roles are vital to keep our books of accounts & financials accurate globally.
We rely on a meticulous financial system to drive business forward. Our Credit & Collection Analysis department keeps that system running smoothly by managing Credit checks as well as preparing various types of reports applicable for statutory requirements.
We're searching for a skilled financial associate to join our Credit & Collections Team to help perform thorough credit checks, track, and record customer records in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner. He/ She is tasked with the responsibility of assessing a person's or a company's riskiness in terms of both extending credit and collecting repayments. We are looking for a professional Credit Risk Analyst to determine our customers creditworthiness. You will analyze financial data to assess the likelihood of a borrower honoring their financial obligations.
Roles & Responsibilities
Independently assess creditworthiness of existing or prospective clients
Examine financial transactions and credit history case by case (applications, statements, balance sheets, legal documents etc.)
Complete ratio, trend and cash flows analysis and create projections.
Deliver a multi-dimensional perspective on the investment outlook in an accessible and informative manner.
Run various reports and parse them in accordance with statutory requirements.
Determine in depth the degree of risk involved.
Carefully analyze data and produce clear and objective reports.
Routinely monitor loans for compliance.
Adhere to credit policy and guidelines.
Monitor corporate portfolio asset quality on an ongoing basis.
Utilize Excel and Power BI (Working knowledge).
Assisting customers with inquiries.
Acting as a liaison between internal and external customers to troubleshoot and resolve issues that may cause deductions and or delays in payments.
Reconciling customer account as needed.
Processing adjustments for write-offs for approval upon research.
Processing requests for credit limits based on recommendation per credit check.
Research and account reconciliations for portfolio of accounts.
Assisting in acquisition activities related to AR as needed.
Acting as a liaison between customer and deductions and internal department on dispute resolution.
Assisting in SOX audit support as needed.
Draft models of credit information that predict trends and patterns.
Working with Global stakeholders with transition experience.
Qualifications
Graduate in Finance /Accounting- (BCOM/MCOM/MBA Finance)
8-10 years of experience in Finance & Accounts.
Team handling experience will be an added advantage.
Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint is a must.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Stakeholder management
Working knowledge on SAP is preferable.
Self-starter, go getter, Positive attitude, influencer & flexible to work as per business requirements.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing processes and procedures.
Time management & detail orientation.
Extensive experience in the shared services sector preferably with MNC
Proven ability to work effectively within strict deadlines
